Whether it is rehearsals, concerts, working with community organizations or at town events, the Glen Rock Pops is always in motion. Here’s the latest from the Glen Rock Pops:

• • • The Pops will begin celebrating its 50th anniversary in September 2024. We are your community orchestra. Come to a Pops concert. Join our Friends of the Pops email list. Support the Pops by clicking on this website’s Donate button to discover new and unique ways to fund the Pops. Help the Pops celebrate its 50th anniversary and beyond.

   

  • • As part of our Schoolhouse Pops education initiative, the Pops is seeking an opportunity to work with music teachers. The culminating activity of this effort would be selected elementary students performing a concert number while seated side-by-side with the Glen Rock Pops musicians.

   

  • • The Pops invites individuals, businesses, and community organizations to underwrite a concert, donate new pieces of music, sponsor the Conductor’s Podium, or a Musical Chair. Click on the Donate button for more details.

June 8, 2025 – Join us Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 3 PM in the Glen Rock High School Auditorium as the Glen Rock Pops hits its golden milestone! Experience an unforgettable afternoon of music, memories, and pure joy. Bring your friends and family—this is one celebration you don’t want to miss!

July 3, 2025 – Kick off Independence Day festivities with an evening of community and celebration on the lawn at Glen Rock Borough Hall, starting at 7:00 PM. Don your red, white, and blue and join us as we proudly honor the members of the Thomas D. Egan VFW Post 850, this year’s Grand Marshals of the Glen Rock 4th of July Parade..

September 2025 – Enjoy the Glen Rock Pops in concert amidst the natural beauty of the Thielke Arboretum. Stay tuned—more details coming soon!”
